Mighty Savers

Explaining financial terms, motivating children to save and knowing exactly when and where to start teaching can be a bit overwhelming. The Mighty Savers Club was designed to help children learn how to start saving at an early age. When your child joins First Jersey Credit Union, they'll be well on their way to learning about interest, deposits, setting money aside and the benefits of saving.

Children ages 5 to 14 are eligible for the Mighty Savers Club. Every new Mighty Savers account receives a FREE gift, a membership card and passbook to log transactions. Children will receive a star with every deposit. There is a Maximum of 1 star per week and the minimum deposit is $20 to receive a star.

Every time 20 stars are accumulated, the child can choose a $5.00 gift certificate to a local toy, video or educational store we have available.

We will also deposit $1.00 for every A or S (based on school grading system) grade received on your child's final report card at the end of the school year.Maximum deposit is $7.00. Grade K-8 only. Report card
must be original and verified by a First Jersey employee by July 15 for the previous school year.

State Quarter Collection Sets

Each year, from 1999 to 2008, the U.S. Mint will issue five different state designs. These highly collectible coins are being issued in the same sequence in which the states were admitted to the United States of America. Each state’s quarter will be produced over a 10-week period, after which it will never be minted again.

These beautiful State Quarters are a hit among collectors of all ages and are destined to become family heirlooms to be handed down to future generations. Imagine owning the entire set of all 50 states— what a historic treasure it will be!

Each State Quarter Collection features two un-circulated from the Philadelphia and Denver mints, the State Quarters are in a colorful tri-fold display card that’s full of interesting facts about the design of the quarter and the state’s history and culture.

The Collector Box is a sturdy, laminated storage case designed to store and protect all 50 of the State Quarter Collections and available for purchase at the Wayne & Hawthorne locations.

This collection is educational and makes a great gift. The state quarters will be completed in 2008, which isn’t far away, but it’s never too late to start collecting.
