That's the Credit Union Motto. Its purpose has guided credit unions in this country for over 90 years. Credit Union membership provides so much more than your average financial institution. As a not-for-profit institution, we return profits to our owners in the form of better rates, services and products. So unlike traditional financial institutions, we're working for you.

First Jersey Credit Union was founded in 1929, when the economic conditions of our country were at their worst. Thirteen employees of the Englewood Post Office met on a warm summer night in June and decided to create a Credit Union. From these meager beginnings we have grown and flourished. We are one of the largest Credit Unions in New Jersey and our members' preferred financial institution.
